3. Recovery Phase:

It stays for 7-10 days, where patients can start to improve. However, close observation is still needed as complications can still occur.

The recovery time from dengue fever varies significantly from person to person, ranging from a few days to weeks. After the intense phase, patients may experience lingering signs, known as dengue recovery symptoms, which consist of fatigue, weakness and mood changes.

Staying hydrated and resting are important during recovery. If symptoms worsen or do not improve, seeking medical attention is important.

Since there is a lot of room for development in finding proper cure for this disease, so treatment at home can serve to get somewhat relieved from the symptoms. Here are some dengue fever treatment food and tips to remember while dealing with the disease.

It is recommended to drink enough of the drinks such as water, coconut water and herbal teas to prevent dehydration.

Eat Nutritious Foods:

Foods rich in vitamins and minerals should be consumed, such as fruits (like papaya and citrus) and vegetables, which can help strengthen the immune system.

Rest:

Enough rest should be ensured to help the body recover effectively.

Pain Relief:

It is recommended to use paracetamol for pain relief, but also non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like ibuprofen and aspirin must be avoided too, as they can increase bleeding risk.
